Games in foreign language classrooms: Taiwanese students’ perspective

The study has been designed in order to answer the growing demand for systematic implementation of English language games into FL curriculum at university level. purpose this paper is analyse how Taiwan-based learners perceive use classroom. qualitative data obtained from in-depth interviews with three individuals majoring EFL and Slavic languages. Among main benefits game-supported instruction, students mentioned breaking routine raising motivation, along educational aspects related introducing, reviewing, testing material. They also offered guidance instructors who plan deploy class. Their overall perception was very positive, which allows conclusion that it advisable introduce a wider audience Taiwanese students. If doing so really can raise motivation master foreign languages whether will translate measurable progress students’ linguistic advancement another issue worth future investigation.
